Sociologist and politologist, prof. Jadwiga Staniszkis, in an interview for 'Rzeczpospolita' claims that the best candidate for prime minister office after Donald Tusk would be Grzegorz Schetyna. In her opinion, what makes him the best candidate are managing and leading abilities and being connected with CP's structures. She also says that Tusk is a bad prime minister and leader. According to Staniszkis, Tusk will work out better as president.Commentary:
The fact is that Civic Platfrm, after a probable Tusk's victory in elections, will have a problem with finding proper people for the most important positions in the government and in the party. Tusk effectively pushed aside the biggest CP's stars what causes, that none of the candidates will be popular enough. Schetyna (most often pointed, as a candidate for prime minister position) has never been popular (and even recognizable) among society, nevertheless, his repute repute has recently been affected by the 'hazard affair'. The idea of Jan Krzysztof Bielecki as prime minister also seems improbable. Firstly, his recently rather a businessman that a politician. Secondly, he hasn't a democratic legitimization, when CP wined the elections nobody voted on Bielecki, but rather on Tusk. The marshal, Komorowski, although he's popular and deliberate, he hasn't got enough back-up in party. Past SKL's team has diminished. Probably, Tusk will get some experts: minister Michał Boni, the leader of strategic advisors unit or minister of finance, Jan Vincent Rostowski. Non of them is not a kind of charismatic leader, who will keep for CP a stable, over 40% electorate's backup.
