Tusk tells if he stands for elections and presents changes in law

Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, announced, that the decision about his candidature in president elections would be made in winter. Thus, in proximate months, we'll be informed who's going to represent Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) in the nearest elections.The government put foreword a list of new regulations, that will come into force since the 1st of January of proximate year. The modifications include regulations referred to maternity leave. Moreover, the charge for new identifying documents, which has been planed to be collect, will be canceled. Minimum wage is expected to rise up to 1317 PLN pre-tax, also the unemployment benefit will rise - to 717 PLN. The welfare services' granting policy will also change, it won't be dependent on income per family member.
The government introduces e-courts, that will investigate slight cases, which do not demand legal proceedings. It's a big step forward to simplify procedures. A ban to play on slot-machines, apart from in casinos, is a response to the 'hazard affair'. Tax abatement, enacted by the previous government, will came into force. We will pay taxes for 2009 under two rates - 18% and 32%.
