Schetyna, Tusk, Palikot, Cimoszewicz. Personnel puzzle in CP mode on

Opinion

Media are excited by personnel matters in Civic Platform - how bad are things between Tusk and Schetyna. 'Is it an open war already?' - asks speaker of 'Fakty op faktach' (TVN - polish biggest private television) talking with Janusz Palikot. He, with disarming honesty, states, that Grzegorz Schetyna gets through leaving the government unusually calmly. Personal quarrels and emotions of CP's politicians have been brought to the forefront of political discourse.

It seems that the case is considerable. After all, psychology of main players in polish political life will influence considerably on who's going to rule. TVN's journalists have assumed a priori such a scenario: politicians will back up CP's candidate, whoever he will be - a 'British gentleman', Radosław Sikorski (who has recently awkwardly tried to explain polish presence in Afganistan by Poland being grateful to mudjaheddins for bringing down the communism), a  'temperate aristocrat' - Bronisław Komorowski, or a guy brought up at backyard - Donald Tusk. There's something for everyone.

Janusz Palikot announces, that in Tusk's team, there will be place also for Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz. Palikot is convinced, that former Foreign Minister will call his backers for following CP. Grzegorz Napieralski grind his teeth for sure.

Political puzzle in CP absorbs politicians and journalists. It's a shame that those subject outshines real political problems. But who would deal with economy, foreign politics or health service? We have an electoral year, ladies and gentlemen, it's going to be like this until November.
