During the World Financial Crisis all we need is not to make more interventionism, which caused it. It’s like treating flu with proving more flu viruses. People who made it are now telling us they have all solutions for our problems. Unfortunately people are not listening to real economists who predicted it long time ago, but to them. Japan is making the same mistake that almost whole world is making. In times of crisis, left winged, socialist governments are doing the same thing that caused our problems – higher the taxes, increase social assistance, control the market. This can’t work, our ancestors saw it in 1929, we can  see it now.

Japan is also suffering the crisis. It obviously lead to extreme decrease of the government’s popularity. We can’t blame other, more socialist governments around the world which caused troubles by interventionism, let’s be angry at people who are ruling us – Japanese think. Let’s elect Socialists, they’re charismatic, they’re salvation for all our problems. But as Frederic Bastiat said “There are things we can see, but also things we can’t  see”. Interventionism, giving money to the ruined companies makes them in better financial situation – we can see it. But we can’t see that government have only this, what it takes from us. It can’t spend more or it will soon become very indebted. This “bailout” helps for a while but it lead to debt, tax increases and so on – that all hurts market a lot and doesn’t help at all.

I predict that Democratic Party of Japan will soon do what they want to do, they will lead Japan to the controlled market – interventionism. They’ll try to spend more money on bailout and will extremely increase the governmental control of the market. This obviously can’t do anything good – can cause only problems. We can see it in every situation when governments are trying to fight free market.

I only hope that Liberal Democratic Party will soon regain power and stop socialists from destroying this one of the world’s most powerful country, which become strong because of economic liberalism.
